Stay cool at the game, on the beach, or the shoreline!
Hey all you youth sports fans & shoreline enthusiasts – beat the summer heat using your Sun Umbrella Brace to easily secure your beach umbrella. Check out these 5 great ways to beat the heat when out at the youth sports fields, the beach or the shoreline:
1. Protect Your Skin
When you're out in the sun, don't forget to wear plenty of sunscreen with at least SPF 30+ protection and reapply often. Nothing can ruin you fun faster then a bright red sunburn.
2. Drink Water
To replace the moisture that you lose as you sweat, be sure to drink lots of water. As you lose water to dehydration, your body temperature rises, so replacing fluids is essential to keeping cool. Keep a water bottle handy and a cooler with ice to prevent your water from boiling in the heat.
3. Protect Your Eyes
The suns rays can damage your eyes anytime during the year, not just in the summertime. Be sure to wear UV-blocking sunglasses to help protect your eyes. Also, don't be fooled by clouds: the sun's rays can pass through haze and thin clouds.
4. Keep Cool
Use a cold, wet towel around your neck will cool down your body's temperature. You can dip the towel in your cooler or simply get it wet, even room temperature water will feel cool during a hot summer day.
5. Get Some Shade
Take a break from the sun using your Sun Umbrella Brace to easily secure your beach umbrella to your chair leg, bleacher railing or rolling cooler handle!
Whether you're at a ball game or the beach, follow these quick tips to beat the heat this summer.
